Diana Shipping Inc. Announces Time Charter Contract Extension for m/v Polymnia

Diana Shipping Inc. has announced the extension of a time charter contract for its Post-Panamax dry bulk vessel, the m/v Polymnia, with Oldendorff Carriers GmbH & Co. KG. The new contract is set to begin on June 1, 2026, and will run until at least March 1, 2027, with an end date of April 30, 2027. The gross charter rate is US$20,000 per day, minus a 5.00% commission. This extension is expected to generate approximately US$5.36 million in gross revenue. The m/v Polymnia, built in 2012, has a carrying capacity of 98,704 dwt. Diana Shipping Inc. currently operates a fleet of 36 dry bulk vessels and expects to take delivery of two new vessels in 2027 and 2028.
