Draganfly Launches Draganfly Blitz™ Advanced Optical Payload Product Line

Draganfly Inc. announced the launch of its Draganfly Blitz™ payload platform, a new family of advanced electro-optical and infrared (EO/IR) payloads and stabilized gimbal systems developed in partnership with Blitz Technology. This strategic move positions Draganfly as a key North American provider of high-performance drone optics for defense, public safety, and critical infrastructure markets. The new payload ecosystem aims to address the growing demand for NDAA-compliant, integrated gimbal systems. The Draganfly Blitz platform offers lower acquisition costs, rapid production scalability, reduced delivery timelines, modular integration, and high-performance optical systems. The payload family includes Spectrum 300™, Spectrum 500™, Spectrum 800™, and Spectrum 1600LR™ systems, providing capabilities such as 4K and Full HD electro-optical imaging, thermal infrared, laser rangefinding, and multi-axis gimbals. These systems are designed for various applications including defense ISR, tactical reconnaissance, search and rescue, border security, disaster response, infrastructure inspection, and public safety operations. The partnership with Blitz Technology, which includes integrating Corlens Inside™ metalens technology, expands Draganfly’s vertically integrated drone solutions by adding advanced optical payload capabilities to its existing offerings of airframes, software, AI systems, and operational support. The Draganfly Blitz payload platform is set to debut at SOF Week 2026.
