Draganfly Completes Acquisition of Skip Dynamix
Draganfly Inc. has completed the acquisition of Skip Dynamix Corporation for a total price of up to US$7,525,000. This includes a cash payment of US$2,525,000, US$2,500,000 in Draganfly common shares, and up to US$2,500,000 in earn-out consideration. The acquisition enhances Draganfly's defense portfolio by adding Skip Dynamix's fixed-wing drone capabilities, which are designed for affordability and mass production. This integration is expected to strengthen Draganfly's position in the defense market, particularly for U.S. Department of War programs, NATO initiatives, and Indo-Pacific security programs. The Orca fixed-wing platform complements Draganfly's existing multi-rotor systems, addressing a gap in the market for long-range, hand-launchable capabilities. The company anticipates significant revenue synergies and expanded market reach, with Skip Dynamix founders Jonathan Baron and Andrew Chapman joining Draganfly to provide expertise in fixed-wing sUAS technology.
