Vistance Networks to Sell RUCKUS Business to Belden Inc.

Vistance Networks has entered into a definitive agreement to sell its RUCKUS Networks business to Belden Inc. for $1.846 billion in cash. The transaction is expected to close in the second half of 2026, subject to regulatory approvals. Vistance Networks anticipates net proceeds of approximately $1.7 billion after taxes and expenses, with a significant portion to be distributed to shareholders as a special distribution within 60 days of closing. CEO Chuck Treadway stated that the sale unlocks equity value, allows for cash return to shareholders, and provides a strategic fit for the RUCKUS business with Belden. The proceeds will enable Vistance Networks to focus on its Aurora Networks business and invest in developing next-generation technology. The company will host a conference call to discuss the transaction and first quarter 2026 results.
