CG Oncology Announces Departure of President & COO and Appointment of Arthur Kuan as President

On May 20, 2026, CG Oncology, Inc. announced the departure of Ambaw Bellete, the Company’s President and Chief Operating Officer, effective June 30, 2026. The Company and Mr. Bellete have agreed to a separation arrangement, under which he is expected to receive severance benefits in accordance with his existing employment agreement, contingent upon a general release and waiver of claims. Following this departure, the Board of Directors has appointed Arthur Kuan, the Company’s current Chief Executive Officer, to the additional role of President. CG Oncology has also initiated a formal search for a new Chief Commercial Officer to join the leadership team. These leadership changes are intended to manage the transition following Mr. Bellete's exit while maintaining executive continuity under Mr. Kuan’s expanded leadership responsibilities.
