Crown Holdings, Inc. Reports Second Quarter 2026 Results
Crown Holdings, Inc. announced its financial results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2026. The company reported diluted earnings per share of $2.23, an increase from $1.56 in the prior year, and adjusted diluted earnings per share of $2.49, up 16% from $2.15 in 2025. Global beverage can volumes increased by 5%, driven by strong performance in Asia, Europe, and North America, partially offset by softer demand in Latin America. The company repurchased $305 million of its shares during the quarter, contributing to a total of nearly 7% of outstanding shares repurchased over the past twelve months. The net leverage ratio stood at 2.5x adjusted EBITDA. Crown Holdings raised its full-year 2026 guidance for adjusted diluted earnings per share to $8.30-$8.50 and expects adjusted free cash flow of at least $900 million. Net sales for the quarter were $3,668 million, up from $3,149 million in the second quarter of 2025, attributed to higher shipments and material cost pass-through. Income from operations increased to $464 million from $391 million year-over-year.
