BioNTech to Present Positive Pumitamig and Gotistobart Data at ASCO 2026
BioNTech SE announced it will present new clinical data from its late-stage oncology pipeline at the 2026 ASCO Annual Meeting. Key highlights include positive interim results from the Phase 2 portion of the Phase 2/3 ROSETTA Lung-02 trial evaluating pumitamig (BNT327) plus chemotherapy in first-line non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). The data showed encouraging anti-tumor activity across PD-L1 expression levels, supporting the ongoing pivotal Phase 3 portion of the trial. Additionally, the company reported positive overall survival data from the Phase 2 PRESERVE-004 trial for gotistobart (BNT316) plus pembrolizumab in platinum-resistant ovarian cancer (PROC), demonstrating durable anti-tumor activity and a manageable safety profile. BioNTech's oncology pipeline now includes over 25 Phase 2 and 3 trials, with 13 ongoing pivotal trials. Other presentations will cover antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) including BNT324/DB-1311 in prostate cancer and BNT323/DB-1303 in endometrial cancer. The presentations are scheduled for May 29 to June 2, 2026.
