Ballard Power Systems Inc. Appoints Ralph Robinett as Chief Operating Officer

Ballard Power Systems Inc. has announced the appointment of Ralph Robinett as its new Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, effective April 13, 2026. Robinett replaces Lee Sweetland and brings over 25 years of global operations, manufacturing, and supply chain leadership experience in advanced technology and clean energy sectors. Most recently, he served as COO at GAF Energy, where he significantly contributed to scaling operations and commercializing new technologies. His appointment is expected to strengthen Ballard's operational capabilities and support its long-term growth strategy. The company also thanked Lee Sweetland for his contributions. Ballard Power Systems is focused on delivering fuel cell power for a sustainable planet, with its zero-emission PEM fuel cells enabling the electrification of various transportation sectors and stationary power applications.
