Alibaba Group Holding Limited has been included on the U.S. Department of Defense's list of Chinese Military Companies (CMC List). The Company believes this inclusion is a mistake and states that it is not a Chinese military company nor part of any military-civil fusion strategy. Alibaba Group intends to take legal action to contest this decision. The Company also clarified that this inclusion will not affect its business operations as it does not engage in business related to U.S. military procurement.
