Centrais Elétricas Brasileiras S.A. – Eletrobras (Eletrobras) announced its Board of Directors has approved the initiation of procedures for the delisting of its American Depositary Receipts (ADRs) from the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). This decision aims to consolidate liquidity in a single market, as ADRs currently represent only 2.5% of the Company’s shareholder base. Eletrobras highlighted that advances in corporate governance practices, strengthening of internal controls, and risk management remain ensured, further reinforced by the company's migration to the Novo Mercado. The company reiterates its commitment to enhancing its governance framework, focusing on shareholders' rights, transparency, and integrity to generate long-term value.
