Amtech Systems Appoints Thomas Sabol as New Chief Financial Officer

Amtech Systems, Inc. announced the appointment of Thomas Sabol as its new Chief Financial Officer, effective May 14, 2026. Sabol, age 67, brings over 30 years of senior financial leadership experience, including more than 20 years as CFO for both public and private companies. He replaces Mark Weaver, who served as Interim CFO. Sabol's background includes previous roles as Interim CFO with Korn Ferry Executive Interim Services, CFO at Corcentric Inc, Transact Campus Inc, and Rimini Street, Inc., where he led the company through its IPO. He also previously served as CFO and COO at Plexus Corp. Sabol is a Certified Public Accountant with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Marquette University. His compensation package includes a $350,000 annual base salary, eligibility for a target bonus of 50% of base salary, and a grant of 45,000 stock options vesting over three years. The appointment includes change-in-control provisions providing for 12 months of base salary and full equity acceleration in the event of a corporate change.
