AppLovin Corporation Announces Executive and Board Transitions

AppLovin Corporation has announced significant leadership changes. Effective July 1, 2026, CTO Basil Shikin will transition to Distinguished Engineer, with Chief Product and Engineering Officer Giovanni Ge appointed as the new CTO. Chief Administrative & Legal Officer Victoria Valenzuela will retire on August 1, 2026, and will be nominated for a director position. Corina Cacovean will succeed Ms. Valenzuela as Chief Legal Officer. Additionally, Craig Billings has been appointed independent Chairperson of the Board, succeeding Adam Foroughi, who will continue as CEO. Director Alyssa Harvey Dawson will not seek re-election at the upcoming annual meeting. These changes are detailed in a press release dated April 7, 2026.
