Apogee Enterprises Completes Acquisition of GroGlass

Apogee Enterprises, Inc. has completed the acquisition of SIA “GroGlass” ("GroGlass"), a Latvian company specializing in anti-reflective and advanced coatings for glass surfaces. The transaction, valued at approximately €62.5 million (or up to $71.8 million including contingent consideration), was funded through existing cash and a revolving credit facility. GroGlass, known for its premium brands and expertise in materials science, will complement Apogee's Performance Surfaces portfolio, with the combined entity expected to drive growth in existing and new markets and enhance innovation. This acquisition is a significant milestone in Apogee's strategy, strengthening its position in high-performance coated materials and architectural building products. The deal was initially announced on September 3, 2026, and finalized on September 18, 2026, following the satisfaction of closing conditions. Apogee anticipates that the integration of GroGlass will create long-term value for its customers and shareholders.
