Alaska Air Group, Inc. Appoints Shane Tackett as President

Alaska Air Group, Inc. announced the election of Shane Tackett as president of Alaska Airlines, effective June 29, 2026. Tackett will continue in his role as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for both Alaska Air Group and Alaska Airlines. In his expanded capacity, he will oversee the commercial division, in addition to his existing responsibilities in finance, fleet management, investor relations, supply chain, internal audit, and information technology. Tackett, with over 25 years at Alaska Airlines, has held various leadership positions and played a key role in guiding the company through industry changes and strategic decisions, including the acquisition of Hawaiian Airlines. His annual base salary will increase to $692,804, and his target annual cash incentive will be 105% of his base salary. His long-term incentive award target is set at $3,000,000.
