Standard Lithium Ltd. Form 6-K Filing
This report details a Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) for Standard Lithium Ltd.’s Franklin Project in East Texas, USA. The project focuses on extracting lithium, bromine, and potassium from brine in the Smackover Formation. The PEA, with an effective date of July 20, 2026, outlines a conceptual study for producing approximately 70,000 tonnes per annum of lithium carbonate. An opportunity for co-production of approximately 50,000 tonnes per annum of elemental bromine is also presented. The report incorporates data from three project-specific wells and 100 existing oil and gas wells, alongside 2D seismic data. Metallurgical testing indicates a lithium recovery of approximately 95% through DLE technology, with downstream processes supporting an overall recovery of 89.25% for lithium carbonate production. Bromine recovery is estimated at 95.8%, pending further test work. The project infrastructure includes a wellfield with production and injection wells, and a processing facility. Market studies project significant long-term demand for lithium driven by the electric vehicle and battery storage sectors. The report was prepared in accordance with NI 43-101 standards.
