Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico Reports 7.3% Passenger Traffic Decrease in September 2026

Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico, S.A.B. de C.V. (GAP) reported a 7.3% decrease in total passenger traffic in September 2026 compared to September 2025. The decrease was primarily attributed to a decline in airline seat capacity, particularly in the domestic market. Adverse weather conditions from Hurricane Polo also impacted operations at Puerto Vallarta and Los Cabos airports. Tijuana, Puerto Vallarta, and Los Cabos airports experienced significant decreases in passenger traffic. In Jamaica, both Montego Bay and Kingston airports saw a decline in passenger traffic. Despite the overall decrease, seat capacity dropped by 7.2%, while load factors slightly increased from 80.7% to 81.0%.
